According to statistics from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products," new tool cart product applications surged by 1,616.67% year-on-year during the first eight months of 2025, while the number of applicant companies jumped from 8 in the same period last year to 52, a year-on-year increase of 550%. These figures indicate that the tool cart industry is entering an unprecedented period of rapid growth.
In terms of applicant distribution, Jiangsu Linglong ranked first with 28 new product applications, followed by Luoyang Lingyu Langchen. The top five applicants collectively filed 105 new product applications, accounting for 50.97% of the total, reflecting the high concentration of the tool cart market and the strong participation of leading companies.
Meanwhile, new energy special vehicle product applications reached 2,539 during the first eight months of 2025, with a penetration rate climbing to 30.31%, up 6.22 percentage points from the same period last year. Hybrid products accounted for 13.71% of new energy applications, up from 8.32% a year earlier, while range-extender products saw 122 applications, a year-on-year increase of 74.29%. Industry analysts point out that with manufacturing upgrading and rapid logistics industry development, demand for tool carts as mobile storage and transport solutions continues to expand, with electrification and intelligentization becoming key directions for the next phase of industry growth.
Industry experts note that China's tool cart industry is transitioning from traditional manufacturing toward intelligent and automated solutions. Modular design and scalability will enable tool carts to adapt to a wider range of work scenarios, while IoT integration will enable intelligent tool tracking and inventory management, further improving tool management efficiency.
